The time of shedding

You lived with foreign feelings
while yours slept in you
and only whispered to you in dreams.

Did you listen to them and live them
or just admire the foreign ones?

It is the time of shedding
where skin separates from skin
and your face is coming out of foreign feelings –
are you not going to run away?

And a foreign face is coming out of your feelings –
will you not hug him?
