The even number of one’s own mirror

Everything is advanced time — like daylight saving time.
And everything wrestles with the even numbers of its own mirror,
which divide it in half
and bind it to a battle with itself for its wholeness.

Only Jesus descended into the receded time,
into the natural time of the odd rule,
and waits for a pair to rise again.
